How to play

  1. Lift off gas before steep down-slopes. Free wheels keep the truck steady; gas in mid-air spins you.
  2. Use small taps of the tilt buttons in the air to land flat. Long holds will flip you over.
  3. On long ramps, alternate gas and brake to keep both wheels in contact with the ground.
  4. Three flips and the level ends. Two flips is a star bonus penalty. Zero flips is a clean star run.

Tiny Truck Trials — original physics driving

Tiny Truck Trials is a small physics driving game made for New.gg. You drive a short truck across thirty hand-tuned tracks. Each track is short, between fifteen and forty seconds at a good pace, and is built around two or three obstacle ideas: a steep ramp, a seesaw, a gap, a row of bumps. The physics engine is custom and lightweight, with two wheels and a chassis constraint, gravity, and friction with the terrain polyline.

Controls and feel

The controls are intentionally minimal: gas, brake/reverse, and two tilt buttons that rotate the chassis in the air. There is no steering input because the truck only moves left and right. Mastering the game is about timing and small inputs. Mash gas through a steep up-slope and you will flip on the crest. Lift off in time and you will glide.

Stars and best times

Each level awards up to three stars. Three stars require a clean run within the target time. Two stars allow one flip. One star is awarded for any finish. Best times are saved per level so you can grind for a personal record after you have unlocked everything.
